Love Connects Everything!
As we head into a week of Thanksgiving let us dwell on the fact that we are all connected. Each person… each animal… each blade of grass contains the work of our God. As the ones made in his image, we bare his heart and soul within every human being on the planet. No matter the race… no matter the religion… we are all the same. How we treat each other is how we treat God and Christ. Paul said “there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, chosen or unchosen. ALL men are brethren and children of Jesus”. The point is that there is no chosen race. There is no superior group over any other. He cuts away the illusion that the members of one nation or group is superior. In the sight of God, all are the same. Americans are not superior to Mexicans. French are not superior to Russians. Men are not superior to women and races are all the same. In the teachings of Jesus this attitude of superiority has no place. Each person, regardless of time or place or lifestyle has to live with his own individual soul. His own spiritual path. He taught this because feeling superior leads to scapegoating of others. When we think we are superior or “the best” then the others have to be punished or eliminated. These all become obstacles to love. This attitude becomes an obstacle for connection to Jesus. When in fact the only reason for our existence is LOVE thru the heart of Christ. I Love You! – Perry
