The Light of Christ!
As this week has brought continue conversation and reflection on the life of my dad it gives me pause. Conversations have been about his integrity… his kind ways… and mostly about his love of Christ that shined in his daily life. He made my people his people. He made others feel important. He lived in service to people without worry of himself. As I pause to reflect it causes self examination. Does the light of Christ shine from me? Does it shine from you? When we are called home one fine day will gentleness, integrity, love and humility be said? Will others have been blessed by knowing you… knowing me? God measures such as these. I pray, that just like my dad. I will hear Jesus say “Job well done my child.” I want nothing more!!
