Seeing Christ!
They followed the light. Everyone that saw the light that night followed it. The wisemen… the shepherds… Was it an angel that glowed? A star that shined? Regardless they followed the light. They came because they felt his holy spirit. They came bearing gifts and having a sense of awe and wonder. Should we not feel the same at his birth? To even behold his purity in our minds. To contemplate his birth and what it means in our lives should bring us to our knees. Why wisemen? Why shepherds? The wisemen were not jewish. The shepherds may have been jewish, but they were certainly not of any importance in the community. His birth… his amazing birth… God wanted us to know he sent his son for everyone. Not just the elite, not one certain nationality or religion. Christ birth into human flesh was for everyone. He did not come for the religious leaders. He did not come just for the jewish community. He came for everyone and everything, before and forever. Christ is the light that allows people to see things in their fullness. The precise and intended effect is to see Christ everywhere. That is the definition of a true Christian. A mature Christian sees Christ in all things and every human. That should give you a reason to not ever fight, exclude or reject anyone. That is the symbol of his birth. That is the meaning behind the way he entered this world. To allow us to see his light in everyone and everything.
I Love You! Perry
