Listening To God!
She came to me distraught, with her mind racing in a million directions. Her brain, had let her problems overcome her thoughts, and she was sure there was no way out. She was sure her life would be ruined. Our thoughts… those waves of emotion that travel nonstop through our mind, control not only our lives, but produce the outcome of every situation. Our thoughts, which happen continuously in our mind can be controlled. As we grow, only by focusing on the one who made our mind can we come to an understanding of what is important, and what direction to go. If you withdraw your consent from the rich fool’s human system of wealth… If you withdraw your intelligence from what the world considers important… if you transfer your trust to a larger system… if you seek first and foremost the divine system, you will end up with everything you need. My dad was always calm, cool, and collected. When I would allow my mind to panic, he would reel me in. He would look at me and say “work the problem”. As an adult I have taken that advice. When a problem appears I pray over it. I allow the Holy Spirit to talk and I listen. Only by doing so can you live with the peace that Christ promises. I asked her to read a sign in my office. It says “I hate to spoil the ending but its all going to be okay”. I asked her to list the most important people in her life. Soon the problem shrunk. She was finally listening to God. I Love You!
