Can You Hear The Music?

I like music of all kinds.  I love going to the symphony, the ballot, broadway, and concerts. I truly love to watch the performers and the gifts God has given them.  Just as much, if not more, I enjoy the orchestra or band.  I love to try to pick out and hear only one instrument and decide where in the arrangement it belongs. So it is with people, animals, the earth, and our God.  Each has a reason, and a belonging.  Just like an orchestra each instrument is different but together they make beautiful music.  Only by seeing humanity, and the earth, the way that Jesus did, will you spend your life making beautiful music with all those around you.  Jesus spent his whole life being enamored with those around him.  He loved without question and he met people right where they were at.  He didn’t seem to care who you were, who your God was, what tribe you came from or how amiss your lifestyle was.  He loved without hesitation and healed equally as quick.  He worried very little about rules, how you worshipped or if you were sacred or not. He forgave without question or insult.  The only people he took task with were the ones who exploited others for self gain.  How disappointed he must be in us today?  We can, and must, change our ways if we expect to hear the music.  The music is all around us.  Can you hear it?  Can you see it?   It’s an orchestra of hearts.  All playing to the beat of his heart.  Only when we listen will we find pure joy.

I Love You! – Perry
