Where Are You Looking?
Fear… simply fear! Fear of sickness. Fear of death. When we lose sight of God. When we lose sight of his son, fear sits in…. as we have all seen recently.
Thru the madness… I will keep my eyes on Jesus. Thru the sickness… I will keep my eyes on Jesus. Thru the attack by satan… I will keep my eyes on Jesus. Thru the natural disasters… I will keep my eyes on Jesus. Thru the loneliness… I will keep my eyes on Jesus. Thru the financial hardships… I will keep my eyes on Jesus. Thru the sorrow… I will keep my eyes on Jesus. He was walking on water! How could that be? Peter the apostle, as long as he was looking at Jesus, achieved the impossible. Walking on water! The minute… the very second… he took his focus off of the Savior he started to sink. Only by looking directly at Jesus did he rise back up again! When you lose sight of Jesus, you lose sight of the one who is in control. When you lose sight of Jesus, you lose sight of the only one who can save you.
